ABOUT OM JEE PANDEY
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India. Before joining IIT (BHU), I was working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM University AP, Andhra Pradesh, India. Prior to this, I was working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K), India. My general research interests are in the areas of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and their application in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), and Context-aware Pervasive Systems. Current research topics include Small World Models for Development of Wireless Sensor Network Services in the context of sensor node localization, network lifetime management, time synchronization, low-latency, and energy-balanced data transmission, energy-harvesting, low-power wireless communication, and bandwidth-efficient network development. Additionally, I also work in the areas of Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), 5G-mm-wave for IoT applications, Visible Light Communications (VLC), UAV-Assisted Edge and Fog Networks, and Physical Layer Wireless Communication.
