The NYC Department of Design and Construction has given me the opportunity to oversee different infrastructure construction projects which include water main, sewer, catch basin installation, and pedestrian plazas as well. A list of projects with a brief description lies below:PROJECT: HWK300-01 – North Flatbush and Atlantic Yards Streetscapes- Upgrades of water main, sewer, catch basins, and sidewalks of the up and coming area of Prospect Heights, Brooklyn- Inspected installation of water main, hydrant installation, concrete road base, temporary and permanent asphaltic concrete in the Prospect Heights of Brooklyn. PROJECT: SE-851 – H.L.S.S. Fresh Creek: Phase 1- Upgrades of water main, and all sewer systems in Canarsie Area of Brooklyn, which was heavily affected by Hurricane Sandy in 2012- Inspected construction of sanitary sewers, storm sewer, and combined sewer in the Canarsie area of Brooklyn. PROJECT: HWPLZ001K – Myrtle Avenue Reconstruction- Inspected the construction of a Pedestrian Plaza in the Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn- Participated and completed task such as Installation of precast benchseats, sidewalks and sidewalk assessment, installation of water and electric conduits, catch basin installation.
