The primary responsibility is to oversee the delivery of highway and infrastructure projects within a designated region. The RPM ensures that projects are executed in alignment with provincial standards, timelines, budgets, and safety requirements. This role involves:Managing consultant and contractor performance during planning, design, and construction phases.Coordinating with engineering consultants, construction contractors, utility companies, municipalities, and other stakeholders.Monitoring and reporting on project progress, expenditures, schedules, change orders, and quality control.Administering contracts, verifying compliance with technical specifications, and resolving field issues.Ensuring environmental, regulatory, and safety standards are upheld throughout project execution.Providing leadership to field staff, and contributing to project scoping, tender preparation, and post-construction evaluations.RPMs play a key role in ensuring infrastructure investments deliver long-term value to the province while maintaining public safety and minimizing disruptions to road users.
