ABOUT OLUWAKEMI MICHEAL BALOGUN

As a Law Clerk at Lerners LLP, I support my colleagues to provide tailor-made and simplified solutions to clients in various fields, including insurance defense, health law, and commercial litigation. I have 4+ years of legal experience, with a focus on Insurance defense, Health Law, Business and Trade Law and ESG best practices. I hold a Master of Laws in International Business Law from York University, where I gained valuable insights into global trade, investment, and dispute resolution. I also have a Diploma in Law and a J.D in Law from Africa’s foremost Law Faculty, The Faculty of Law University of Lagos.Before my transition to Canada, I acted as Solicitor and Attorney for companies in the cutting edge of their respective fields; representing their interests in the court room and negotiating deals.Either as a Lawyer or problem solver, my goal is to position myself as a trusted resource person and go to person for my clients and colleagues. I use my high sense of commercial awareness and industry acumen to deliver insightful legal advisory services and maintain lasting mutually beneficial relationships. I am also passionate about freelancing, creating content, improving my photography, and volunteering. I am happy to connect and collaborate with other legal professionals and enthusiasts.
