In this role, I provide:Advisory Role to Managers: Providing professional HR advice aligned with employment law, policies, and best practice. I will be supporting managers in handling staffing issues, developing people management skills, and applying HR policies fairly and consistently.Employee Relations Guidance: I advise on and support formal cases such as sickness, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and organisational change. I maintain constructive relationships with trade unions.Coaching & Training: Build management capability by delivering HR training sessions and coaching line managers on employment law, absence management, and people processes.Policy & Compliance Advice: Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, ensuring they are legally compliant and practical. Offer guidance on safeguarding, safer recruitment, and equality matters.Wellbeing & Occupational Health: Provide advice on health and wellbeing strategies, liaising with Occupational Health and advising managers on workplace adjustments.Recruitment & Onboarding Support: Guide managers through recruitment campaigns, selection, and onboarding to ensure compliance and best practice.Data & Reporting: Advise senior leaders through HR data insights, highlighting trends in absence, employee relations, and staffing to inform decisions.
