About Olufemi Oyebanjo
Femi is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for power systems and control. He obtained his bachelor\'s degree from the most prestigious college in Nigeria, University of Lagos and later, his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M. Having worked as a substation Electrical Engineer in Mott MacDonald, he joined Black & Veatch in February, 2017 as a Protection and Control Electrical Engineer. Femi has extensive experience working with multiple utilities, developing complete electrical designs, protective relay settings, and SCADA communication designs. His research interest includes optimal integration of renewable energy sources such as wind and PV solar, and also energy storage systems (ESS) into the power grid in order to enhance power supply reliability and minimization of costs.
