The role involved developing project assurance and management of assurance measures of the Obsolescence programme. This programme required technical knowledge of project assurance using earned value techniques and project controls knowledge on other functional areas – efficiencies, change control and baseline management. The scope also required performance reporting to senior stakeholders through steering committee.Learning: Success in this programme demonstrates Olu’s capability to apply specific techniques resolving complex assurance issues.Project Outcome: Successfully rolling our project assurance measures on Obsolescence programme initiatives and sub-projects and maintenance of such measures for improvement paved way for more complex projects.Key Roles to play:• Collaborate with client’s team to identify assurance requirements• Implement assurance process including Earned Value Management• Tracking project performance – EV, SPI and CPI• Efficiency performance monitoring• Baseline Management and Change Control• Project Controls functional support – risk management and cost engineering
