As a multidisciplinary professional, I thrive at the intersection of medicine, engineering, neuroscience, and art. My journey began with a foundation in mechanical engineering, which evolved into a passion for understanding the human condition and designing solutions that enhance lives. As a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, I bring expertise in brain injury medicine and neural engineering, combining clinical care with innovative research.Throughout my career, I\'ve led and collaborated on groundbreaking projects, from developing assistive technologies and medical devices to advising startups and commercial spinouts. My academic endeavors have yielded over a dozen published papers, particularly in neuroscience and neural modulation, while my teaching roles have fostered the next generation of engineers, researchers, and healthcare providers.Beyond my scientific pursuits, I am a dedicated metal artist, exploring abstract sculpture to capture the interplay between structure and fluidity. My studio practice complements my analytical mindset, offering a creative lens through which I approach problem-solving and innovation.Whether consulting on a medical-technology project, mentoring students, or crafting art, I aim to inspire collaboration and create meaningful impact.
