Aberdeen Group is a global investment company, and asset and wealth manager.As Transformation Director, reporting directly to the Global CFO in 2024 and now the Global COO in 2025, I am responsible for improving operational efficiency in the Investments business, to create a step change in profitability. This is being achieved by driving the delivery of more than £150m of ‘sustainable’ cost savings by the end of 2025 and by establishing strong business growth foundations, underpinned by the use of technology and AI. Additionally the Transformation Programme is improving the controls across the business, again underpinned by increasing our use of technology.In year 1 (2024), we significantly over-achieved our cost saving target, taking more than £106m of sustainable costs out of the business. Year 2, is again on-track to over-deliver.
