3 decades of Gaming!• Started as a Tester and worked in the video game quality assurance industry for 9 years, focusing 4 years in Functional QA and 5 years in Localization QA.• Managed the LQA department at Babel in Montreal for 4 years and transferred for 1 year at Keywords in Dublin. Each office had department staff counts reaching over 200 employees in peak seasons, providing LQA up to 40 languages.• Oversaw Localization QA on 300+ titles, including 35+ and 15+ MMOs as LQA Manager. Worked on new and licensed IPs, covering all genres, with large publishers and startup independent studios, with colleagues and clients on all continents.• Mentored leaders in outsource QA, including 18 QA Managers, 40+ Project Managers, 70+ Test Leads, and 80+ Senior Testers. Set up training programs, taught classes, and invited external workshops to increase skill sets of our workforce.I have spent the last 5 years taking on more and more management responsibilities, while refining my leadership style. As the teams and projects grew larger in number and in complexity, my direct impact on each individual game became less pronounced. I’m looking for an opportunity that allows me to narrow my focus more closely on the games themselves, to get back to the source and core of what motivates me to be better.
