ABOUT OLIVIER CHAREST
I’m an aviation professional with a strong foundation in air operations and ground operations, supported by a background in military communications and radar systems. My goal is to continue growing within the aviation industry—combining technical precision, safety, and teamwork to keep operations running smoothly both on the ground and in the air.Currently, I work as a Cargo Agent at Air Inuit, ensuring safe and efficient cargo handling across northern operations. I perform aircraft weight and balance calculations, coordinate with flight and ground crews, and manage cargo transitions using the Skyline Airline Management System—all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.Alongside this, I contribute to the Rockcliffe Flying Club as a Ramp Agent, assisting with aircraft fueling, towing, and ramp operations, and supporting the Airport Snow Removal Team to maintain safe airfield conditions.I also serve as a Naval Combat Information Operator (Reservist) with the Canadian Armed Forces, where I operate radar, surveillance, and communication systems in support of maritime missions. This experience has strengthened my situational awareness, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure. In 2025, I completed my Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with the International Pilot Academy, gaining in-depth flight and classroom training, and earning my Floatplane/Seaplane Endorsement from Lake Country Airways, where I developed skills in glassy water landings, step taxiing, and in-water operations.I’m passionate about every aspect of aviation—from logistics and ground handling to flight operations—and I’m committed to building a long-term career that keeps me connected to the skies.Core Skills: Cargo & Ramp Operations | Commercial & Floatplane Flying Aircraft Loading & Weight-Balance | Radar & Surveillance Systems Airfield Maintenance | 🪖 Military Discipline & Situational Awareness
