ABOUT OLIVIA URBANEK
Hi, my name is Olivia, and I’m a junior Finance student at UMass Amherst with a strong interest in investing, financial analysis, and valuation. I enjoy learning how companies make decisions, how markets move, and what can impact or change the market. This spring, I’ve been working as an Operations Intern at J.B. Hunt, and it has helped me grow a lot professionally. The experience has strengthened my communication, problem solving, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast paced environment while learning how a large company operates day to day. I plan to finish my bachelors degree in three years and my masters in one with a 3+1. Along with that I decided to add an Information Technology Minor and Real Estate Certificate expanding my technical and market analysis skill sets to better understand both the digital and physical sides of finance. I’m also building my skills through finance coursework, Excel, and my interest in markets. I’m always excited to learn, meet new people, and connect with others in finance and related fields.
