About Olivia Tikalsky

Hello! I am Olivia Tikalsky, an Associate Brand Media Manager at Collective Measures. At CSB/SJU, I engaged with numerous organizations to best prepare myself for a career post graduation. Some of my positions included dance coaching, mentoring first year students and interning internationally as a Marketing and Communication Intern. Lastly, I acted as the President of the Marketing Club at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John\'s University.Through my experiences, I have configured a definition of what it means to be a professional. The belief of dependability arises from being a member of a team, both in my internship and as a dancer. Positivity came through creating morale and a motivational atmosphere for my fellow dancers as their captain and as a coach. Being a leader was also demonstrated through taking charge in difficult situations and making decisions for the health of the team members. Honesty is essential to allowing honest communication between a client and an employee, which I have practiced through my social media posts and email writing. Commitment is important to professionalism as it demonstrates a willingness to succeed; I have demonstrated this through my work at my internship and courses at CSB/SJU. My strengths of being flexible, organized and a strong communicator allow me to maintain my core values and professionalism in a professional setting.
