ABOUT OLIVIA SLAVOV

I am a motivated professional passionate about the intersection of international development, human rights, and national security. I’m currently working as Policy & Strategy Assistant at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, where I contribute to USGLC\'s work with the U.S. Administration and Congress on elevating and strengthening diplomacy and development in American foreign policy. I graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with bachelors degrees in International Affairs and Economics, along with a minor in French and certificates in Global Studies and Personal and Organizational Leadership.Prior to joining USGLC, I served as a French foreign media analyst intern for the State Department\'s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs/Office of Congressional and Public Affairs where I contributed to the Bureau\'s work in providing policy direction in the area of security partnerships. My other experiences include working in a consultancy role for a Georgia county\'s economic development team and as an intern at an international human rights organization. I also have extensive independent qualitative and quantitative research experience and spent an exchange semester abroad at Sciences Po Paris, where I improved my French language skills and took courses on foreign policy issue areas.
