About Olivia Flaim
I’m a senior at Virginia Tech studying Advertising and Communications with a minor in Event and Experience Management. I’m currently the Marketing Coordinator at Apricot Lane Boutique in Blacksburg, where I focus on community outreach, partnerships, and collaborations that build brand awareness and connect us with the local community.This past summer, I completed my dream internship at Tarte Cosmetics. Getting to work at a beauty brand I’ve loved for years was one of my biggest accomplishments. At Tarte, I contributed to creative projects, strengthened my communication and planning skills, and discovered how much I enjoy working in fast-paced, high-energy environments.I’m a natural brainstormer, creative thinker, and leader. I’ve led team projects including my Tarte capstone and my integrated marketing communications campaign for our client My Spectrum CC. I enjoy bringing ideas to life and finding solutions that balance creativity with strategy.I’m excited to grow in roles within the beauty or lifestyle space where I can contribute fresh ideas and eventually move into a creative leadership position. My long-term goal is to become a creative director and guide work that feels meaningful, bold, and memorable.
