About Olivia Tsyn

Since childhood, I have always been fascinated by the natural world around me. Since taking AP biology and chemistry in high school, I\'ve fallen in love with the two disciplines. I\'m extremely passionate about the natural sciences and hope to work full time as a scientific researcher in the future. Through my experiences at Binghamton University, I\'m nurturing interests in health sciences and genetics. I plan to graduate with a B.S. in Biochemistry in Fall of 2027. After that, I hope to work towards a PhD and develop genetic therapies in the future. Currently seeking internships or part time roles as a student researcher! A proud iced coffee drinker all year round :)

   Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority

   Apr 2025 — Present

   In April 2025, I became an active member of Omega Phi Alpha national service sorority as a part of the Epsilon class. As an active member, I work to uphold the organizations principles of leadership, community service and sisterhood. I have completed and will continue to complete at least 10 hours of community service every semester in the areas of the university community, community-at-large, sisters of the sorority, nations of the world, mental health and the President’s project.
