ABOUT OLIVIA TEFFT
I am dedicated to making meaningful improvements in the lives of people across Canada through research, policy and advocacy. Led a province-wide engagement initiative to advance BC’s Population and Public Health Framework, including organizing and facilitating community engagement activities, coordinating project activities and deliverables, and working with provincial representatives to align community-identified needs with system-level priorities. Supported digital transformation and data science at the Public Health Agency of Canada by producing briefing notes, environmental scans, reports, presentations, and dynamic data visualizations to inform program and policy decisions. Coordinated research activities for a behavioural trial targeting older adults with prediabetes, including participant recruitment and screening, conducting remote educational presentations and interviews, coordinating delivery of research materials and managing research team members.
