ABOUT OLIVIA SKLENKA

Olivia is a Senior Analyst and multimedia journalist with a dynamic background in both print and broadcast media. With extensive experience covering domestic politics and global affairs, she has contributed to a range of news outlets and research institutions, addressing critical issues such as censorship, human rights violations, and the evolving challenges of modern democracy. Her career spans roles in both the commercial and nonprofit sectors, where she has supported active and retired service members, and worked with diverse clients—from cybersecurity and software accreditation firms to artificial intelligence companies and national security–focused think tanks. Olivia’s extensive travel and cultural immersion have further enriched her global perspective, informing her analysis and strategic communications. She holds dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Missouri, where she received Honors for her work on the intersection of journalism and democracy and for her political research on peacekeeping and intervention. She is currently deepening her expertise as a Master’s candidate in Security Studies at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. Based in Washington, D.C, Olivia currently serves as a Senior Analyst at Pallas Advisors and as a Communications Analyst at Xiphos Solutions, where she applies her broad expertise to navigate complex security challenges and deliver strategic insights.
