About Olivia Settle Santana
As an Apparel Design student at Oregon State University, I am driven by self-expression through style and the ability of clothing to communicate individuality and purpose. I am particularly interested in how design can reflect identity while remaining functional, thoughtfully constructed, and visually aesthetic.Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I have developed experience in illustration, flat pattern making, garment construction through both machine and hand sewing, fabric sourcing, trend research, technical flats, spec sheets, tech packs, fit sessions, and clothing collection development. I enjoy translating creative concepts into refined designs and strengthening them through the technical aspects of the design process, from initial concept to final execution.As I continue to build my skills, I am seeking apparel design internship opportunities where I can contribute creatively, collaborate with industry professionals, and further develop my technical and design expertise through meaningful, well-crafted apparel.
