Develop and implement legal strategies, policies and processes to mitigate legal risks for the Latin American region. • Manage all aspects of Bupa Global Latin America’s litigation, customer complaints, and subrogation opportunities. • Oversee outside counsel when brought in to assist and develop business strategies. Support Head of Legal for International Markets in managing relationships across global business units. • Serve as corporate secretary for all Florida entities and facilitate corporate governance, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and manage corporate paralegal. • Draft, edit, analyze, negotiate and manage both – domestic and international – agreements including, but not limited to intercompany, business associate, non-disclosure, vendor, servicing, consulting, independent contractor and broker agreements. • Supervise junior counsel’s review and management of regional Bupa Global Latin America’s contractual demands. • Responsible for providing strategic legal advice and counseling as lead counsel for the following business departments: Human Resources, Medical Service, Customer Service, Resolutions, Marketing and Sales. Interact regularly with those business partners to facilitate the achievement of business objectives and manage expectations for legal review and involvement.
