   As Director of Funds for my sorority, I oversee the chapter’s financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, member billing, and financial planning. I help develop and manage annual and semester budgets, allocate funds to different chapter initiatives, and ensure financial transparency and accountability. I regularly communicate with members to keep them informed of dues, payment schedules, and financial policies, while also working with individuals to resolve payment issues and create fair solutions when financial concerns arise.This role gives me hands-on financial management experience and allows me to directly apply concepts from my Finance and Economics coursework, such as budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial decision-making. I use data-driven thinking to evaluate spending, ensure resources are used efficiently, and help maintain the chapter’s long-term financial stability. In this position, I strengthen my analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and use my ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and supportive way.
