About Olivia Packham
I currently work full time as a medical assistant at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center within Michigan Medicine.I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in Health Disparities. During my time at UF I served in direct patient contact roles as the head of the UFCOM Equal Access Clinic at Eastside and as an first responder in the Gold-Accredited Gator Emergency Medical Response Unit (GEMRU). I also completed glioblastoma research under the guidance of Dr. Maryam Rahman.I have a passion for political engagement and advocacy. I intend to remain active in political campaigns and movements to ensure equitable rights for all individuals, particularly surrounding health care access.I will be taking two gap years before matriculating into medical school in Fall 2027.
