About Olivia Naugle

My professional experience includes nearly a decade of advocacy in criminal legal reform. I began my career with the nation\'s largest cannabis policy reform organization, the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), where I worked on advancing equitable cannabis policies through state legislatures throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, most notably leading MPP\'s efforts to legalize cannabis for adults in Maryland and Delaware. Currently, in my role as Campaign Strategist with the Sentencing Project, I manage an advocacy portfolio focused on youth justice issues such as the removal of youth from the adult criminal legal system, expanded use of diversion and alternatives to incarceration for youth, and efforts to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in legal system involvement. My work has provided me with extensive experience lobbying state legislatures, coalition building, mobilizing grassroots, media relations, and providing policy expertise.I pride myself in having a positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. I am passionate, coachable, and always enthusiastic about making a meaningful difference in our society.
