About Olivia McQuiston
I’m a second-year student majoring in neuroscience with a strong interest in the psychological elements that influence marketing and decision-making.I’ve always been fascinated by how people think, what drives their choices, and how effective communication plays a role in that process. Throughout my first year, I took a mix of neuroscience, marketing, and journalism classes that gave me a strong interdisciplinary foundation to allow me to pursue my interests. I’ve also taken research courses that taught me to think beyond boundaries—to explore the unknown and be comfortable with uncertainty that comes with any job.These classes helped me develop both critical thinking and the ability to communicate clearly with both peers and professionals, which I believe are key to maintaining a strong, professional presence in any setting.
