ABOUT OLIVIA MACINTYRE

Hi there! I am a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at one of the top business schools in Canada. I am specializing in Finance and Marketing with a concentration in Business Analytics, combining my love of numbers, data and analytics with my creativity and passion for marketing. I have a Certificate in Digital Marketing and am passionate about Brand Development and Social Media. I am excited about the possibilities that a dual specialization opens up for me, and I am learning more about myself and my career goals every day. I plan to pursue a career in Finance or Consulting but find digital marketing, digital transformation and brand management fascinating. While maintaining a full course load and prioritizing my academics, I also love being involved in extra-curricular activities, and I am currently the finance manager at Girls At The Games, a Vancouver-based club bringing together women in sports, as well as a social media lead for the UBC Fashion Club. I am responsible for creating and executing digital marketing strategies to promote campus events, encourage engagement and grow our community. I work closely alongside the events team and within the media team to ensure consistency and cohesiveness between all branding and marketing - both digital and traditional. Outside of my life on campus, I love fashion, hot yoga, cooking my favourite meals, playing basketball, skiing and trying new restaurants in Vancouver. I thrive in fast-paced and collaborative environments where I can make connections and leave a meaningful impact.
