ABOUT OLIVIA KELLY
At Northumbria University (2018–2021), where I earned a 2:1 in Real Estate, I developed a strong foundation in property management, property law, and development. This experience not only expanded my knowledge but also fueled my passion for a career in the real estate sector, with a particular interest in Asset Management and Development. As Assistant Asset Manager at Screwfix, I am responsible for driving the expansion of our trade counter and high-street portfolio across the North East, Yorkshire & The Humber, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. This position has allowed me to refine further my expertise in acquisitions, estate management, landlord & tenant and stakeholder negotiations while contributing to the company’s continued growth. I am currently preparing to sit my APC (Corporate Real Estate pathway) in October 2025, a key step toward achieving Chartered Surveyor status. To support my APC studies, I have received in-depth training in areas such as business strategy, leasing and letting, negotiation, landlord and tenant, estate management and acquisitions. Additionally, I’ve gained hands-on experience in property inspections, measurement, and valuation, collaborating with internal teams and external professionals to enhance my skills. I am excited to continue advancing in the real estate field and look forward to contributing to innovative and impactful projects that drive long-term value.
