About Olivia Bellow
My name is Olivia, and my superpower is finding the silver lining in *almost* any situation. I blame it on my, sometimes to a fault, optimism. I don\'t believe in karma, but I do think that if your heart is in the right place, more good comes to you, or people will help you when you need it. Bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people, but I believe we can tilt the scales in our favor by doing the right things.I\'m retiring from the Air Force after 20 years of service. I joined when I was 17, so it\'s all I\'ve known for my adult life. I wish I could write more about who I am, but I\'m still figuring that out. What I do know is that I love people, laughing, and being a positive influence. I\'ve been told that even when I am delivering bad news or helping someone through a personal problem, I can do it in a way that eases the burn without sugarcoating the truth. People seem to appreciate an honest broker, and I believe in transparency. As far as work is concerned, I have years of experience prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously, and following through to achieve project goals. My current role requires me to respond to incidents or sometimes drop everything I am doing to help someone. It helped me refine my ability to prioritize my tasks. I\'m a dependable professional with several years of experience in the Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Intelligence Analysis fields. My years as an analyst have helped me in my current role by training my brain to \"connect the dots\" and identify what I know and don\'t know about a situation or problem I am tackling. My time in the Air Force has also made me adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn new skills while supporting others by sharing knowledge, experiences, and training from previous work. Every job the Air Force has placed me may have had similar titles but very different cultures, processes, and missions, so I had to learn quickly and adapt! I am proficient in using Microsoft Office, process improvement, project and program management, & emotional intelligence.I currently reside in Las Vegas, NV, but I am interested in relocating to Colorado or Massachusetts in the next 12-24 months.I am married to a wonderful man named Bryson, and we have two boys. Bryson and I met while deployed to Saudi Arabia and married four months after knowing each other! We both work full-time, so we make the most of our time together. When we aren\'t downtown trying a new restaurant, we are either out in nature hiking or snowboarding or home binging our favorite shows or Disney movies.
