ABOUT OLIVIA HANNINEN
ECA Partners is an executive search firm that specializes in value creation roles across strategy, finance, and operations. As a Project Manager, I have successfully led multiple searches from start to end, culminating in placements from manager to C-Suite levels across industry for Private Equity and F500 clients. Prior to ECA, I received my PhD from UC Irvine in Russian History, where my doctoral dissertation was on military death in the late imperial period. My PhD made me an accomplished writer for both academic and non-academic audiences, presenter, and teacher. I designed and taught multiple undergraduate classes - my favourite was one on the Global History of Soccer! I\'m always happy to talk to anyone thinking about transitioning out of academia into corporate roles.
