About Olivia Heintzen

I am a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Sciences. During my time at UCF, I discovered a deep passion for the global impact of systematic change and advocacy. My academic journey was enriched by serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Psychopathology, where I supported students in navigating complex psychological concepts. Outside the classroom, I worked in the service industry, was an active member of multiple organizations, and dedicated my time to volunteer work, including a significant role with The Village through Impower FL. I currently work full-time at a local nonprofit and plan to further my education and plan to pursue a Master of Social Work to begin my path toward becoming a LCSW. My goal is to combine my academic foundation and hands-on experience to foster meaningful change and empower individuals to thrive.

   Program Assistant at Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO)As a Program Assistant at CECO, I supported individuals with motor disabilities through a holistic, educational-based approach to conductive education. I assist in classroom activities, facilitated adaptive learning strategies, and provided hands-on support to help students develop independence and motor skills. This has role deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, accessibility, and the importance of individualized care in fostering growth and confidence.
