ABOUT OLIVIA HALLETT
Deeply passionate about climate and renewable energy policy, conservation and biodiversity, green transitions, and environmental justice. With experience in research, communications, editing, and nonprofit work, I have developed strong abilities to communicate complex issues to a wide variety of audiences, work collaboratively and build relationships, and organise competing tasks and commitments. I currently lead energy and environment projects for Type Ventures.In 2022, I graduated with distinction from McGill University, earning a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science with minors in Environment and History. I then relocated to London to start my Masters in Environmental Policy and Regulation at LSE. I undertook modules such as Environmental Regulation: Implementing Policy, Transnational Environmental Law, Global Environmental Politics, and Planning for Sustainable Cities. My dissertation research focused on Indigenous protected and conserved areas in Canada and their relationship to environmental justice.
