Overseas daily visual coverage primarily in features but not limited to news, lifestyle, sports, and business. Manages and assigns the photo staff still and video assignments, tracks daily development of stories and edits weekly magazine covers. Researches photos for daily paper and online and retrieves photos from photo wire services and the Newsday archive. Works closely with editors, interactive staff, multimedia and reporters to coordinate and edit photo and video content for numerous sections of Newsday’s print and digital editions. Attends weekly budget and planning meetings.
