ABOUT OLIVIA DOWD

After completing my A Levels in Law, Sociology and Criminology in 2024, I chose to pursue the apprenticeship route to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced business environment.I began my journey with 3D Trans Ltd in September 2024 as a Transport & Business Administration Apprentice, working within the bookings department. In this role, I support day-to-day transport operations, coordinate bookings, and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.As my responsibilities developed, I also became involved in completing rate confirmations and invoices, supporting the accounts team and gaining valuable insight into the commercial side of the logistics industry.Working across both operational and administrative areas has allowed me to provide excellent customer service while developing strong relationships with customers through clear and effective communication from start to finish.As part of my Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, I completed a business improvement project focused on enhancing the company’s social media presence. The project was a significant success, resulting in the growth of our LinkedIn page by 500+ followers and a noticeable increase in engagement over a two-month period. Following the successful completion of my apprenticeship, I progressed into the role of Transport, Business & Marketing Administrator. In this expanded position, I now contribute across transport operations, business administration, and marketing, supporting both the operational efficiency and continued growth of the business.I am highly motivated to continue developing my skills within the transport and logistics sector, with a strong interest in business operations, administration, and continuous improvement.
