About Olivia Deguzman
Hello! My name is Olivia Deguzman, and I’m currently an International Business and Marketing student at the University of Tampa, graduating in May 2025. At UT, I’ve been actively involved in the Delta Beta chapter of Delta Zeta, where I’ve served as Ritual Chair (2021–2022) and currently as Social Chair (2022–present). These leadership roles have allowed me to foster a strong sense of community and create inclusive, engaging experiences that reflect the values of our chapter. In Spring 2024, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy—an experience that deeply enriched my understanding of global business practices and consumer behavior. Living and learning in a new cultural environment helped me build adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and collaboration skills that I carry into every professional setting. Most recently, I completed an accounting internship at Rose Paving LLC in Bridgeview, Illinois. There, I managed invoices and supported Accounts Payable and Receivable, using tools like Microsoft Excel, Business Central, and XRM to maintain accurate records and support day-to-day operations. I’m graduating this May and actively seeking full-time opportunities where I can apply my background in international business, marketing, and accounting to make an impact—ideally in a dynamic, global-facing role.
