I have worked in the hospitality industry since childhood, first helping my mother out in her gift shop in Charleston, South Carolina. From then on, I knew that I was passionate about serving others. I am a leader, a mentor, and a friend to those that I encounter personally and professionally.In 2024, I received a certificate for HR Management through the University of Nevada-Reno (UNR). While I have a bachelors in Business Management, I believe that we should be dedicated to lifelong learning and growth. As such, I intend to continue pursuing knowledge in HR and hope to complete a SHRM or PHR certification in the near future. Over the years I have worn many hats- server, bartender, wedding coordinator, pastry chef, line cook, cashier, food and beverage manager, and more. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges. But actual experience has taught me that my professional value boils down to the following- I will run towards fires- Big ideas are great, but execution is better- I want to win, but I want you to win as well- I am a multi-linguist of hospitality. I can speak chef, catering sales, marketing, rooms, server, and difficult customer.
