At Birmingham AIDS Outreach (BAO), I have been able to lead a personal project, detailed below-Designed and implemented a longitudinal LGBTQ+ adolescent-health behavior survey (n<300)-Facilitated processes of data collection, analyses using R, and results dissemination-Currently in the manuscript-writing process for publication.Through this position, I have also been able to -Administer HIV & Hep. C tests to low-income and homeless populations in the Birmingham-metro-Familiarize myself with regulatory reporting paperwork from the CDC and NIH as it pertains to grant management, specifically within nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status-Utilize Electronic Health Reporting Software (AdvancedMD) to support above-listed professional documentation-Write (unpublished) scoping reviews (n=7) on a variety of literature surrounding illicit drug usage, the relationship of negative health behaviors and an HIV+ status, and health disparities specific to minority populations (racial and sexual orientation/gender identity).
