With a love and passion for problem solving, I thought I had found my niche as a manager and was looking forward to continue to grow and solve bigger and even more complex problems in the restaurant industry. Until I started working with a team towards the goal of optimizing our online ordering system. Seeing how small details within the technology had a huge impact on my team in-store, I was hooked, I knew these were the problems I was looking to solve. Transitioning to Software Engineering has not been without countless hours of hard work and effort, but the skills that have seamlessly transferred to this new role have sometimes surprised me. I still get the same rush when encountering an issue or bug, taking note of my end goal, and working through each and every path until I find what works and fits the needs of the situation. I\'m excited to continue to learn new skills, implement new technologies into projects, and work with others who are just as excited about this field as I am!
