About Olivia Allen
I lead the instructional and leadership development for a cohort of 30 developing educators, while managing partnerships with school leaders across 13 Title 1 schools across Miami-Dade Public Schools. Prior to joining Teach for America, I served as a Fifth Grade Teacher for six years, and held other roles including Fifth Grade History Dean of Curriculum Fellow, Instructional Leader, and Grade Level Chair at Uncommon Schools. I started my career in education in 2014 as a fifth grade teacher and 2014 Teach for America Corps Member in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. I hold an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University, a Masters of Teaching from UNC Charlotte.
