ABOUT OLIVER UECKE
I am serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Lipotype and also the Chief Executive Officer of the US subsidiary. In my role, I am responsible for overseeing business operations, with a primary focus on strategy, business development, marketing, sales, and finances. Additionally, I oversee US operations and expansion efforts. Before joining Lipotype, I led an EU interreg 4c project with 10 European partners to optimize technology transfer processes within biotechnology. Preceding this, I previously worked in a technology transfer office as a manager for biotechnology start-ups. Since 2020, I have been serving as the chairman of the board of Biosaxony, the association of biotechnology, medical technology, and healthcare in the State of Saxony, Germany. My contributions were further recognized through advisory roles with the European Commission.I hold an MBA and completed my PhD in the field of technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and innovation management in biotechnology. I am passionate about driving innovation and fostering growth within the biotech sector, and connecting with like-minded professionals to explore potential synergies and collaborations.
