Responsible for ensuring that the controls in place to mitigate the risk of non compliance with the UK Regulatory requirements are tested on a periodic basis- Line management responsibility for a team of 5/6 people. Responsibilities include assigning reviews/audits to team members along with communicating milestone expectations; Monitoring team member performance both during reviews and softer skills, such as communications with other team members and stakeholders; delivering team member feedback during and after reviews/audits as well performing annual appraisals- Reviewing the quality of working papers produced by the review/audit team to ensure that they meet the quality expectations of the Global Compliance team and are in line with Global methodologies- Liaising with a senior stakeholders across the bank on various matters including upcoming reviews, emerging issues, risk and control matters- Deputizes for the Head of Testing on various matters when the Head of Testing is not available.
