About Oliver Mullins
Originator and leading new technical discipline \"Reservoir Fluid Geodynamics\". RFG addresses redistributions and phase changes of reservoir hydrocarbons during and post charge to present day. Described in detail in my new book \"Reservoir Fluid Geodynamics and Reservoir Evaluation\" to be released, Fall 2019. RFG Enablers: New asphaltene equation of state Flory-Huggins-Zuo EoS, utilizing the Yen-Mullins model of asphaltene nanosciecne. Downhole fluid analysis (DFA) for measurements of fluid gradients in reservoirs to be analyzed by the FHZ EoS. RFG utilizes a universal workflow for each, unique reservoir to address reservoir issues such as reservoir connectivity, compartmentalization, baffling, fracture and fault formation, fault block migration, tar mat and heavy oil formation, biodegradation, water washing, gas washing, thermal maturity varitations, spill-fill, disequilibrium gradients, diffusive gradients in reservoirs. All of the topics are coupled in the new RFG book. A summary of my current CV: published 285 papers (half scientific and reviewed, half application in SPE, SPWLA). 19,500 citations on google scholar, H-index 75, 2 authored books, 3 books coedited & 15 coauthored book chapters, 135 allowed US patents. Awards: Member, US National Academy of Engineering, ADIPEC Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Technical Excellence in the Oil and Gas Industry, SPE International Reservoir Description and Dynamics Award, George A Olah Award in Petroleum or Hydrocarbon Chemistry from the American Chemical Society, SPWLA Gold Medal for Technical Achievement, SPE Regional Formation Evaluation Award, Gulf of Mexico, SPWLA Distinguished Technical Achievement Award, SPE Distinguished Member Award, SPWLA Distinguished Lecturer (five times), SPE Distinguished Lecturer (twice), DB Robinson Distinguished Lecturer, University of Alberta, Award of Excellence Society of Technical Communication Houston, Award of Excellence International Technical Communications, Fellow Society of Applied Spectroscopy, Fellow Two PBS Gold Medals, Two Henri-Doll Awards, Adjunct Professor Texas A&M Pet.
