ABOUT OLIVER CAVEDON

I\'m an experienced sustainability expert with a passion for making a difference within and beyond ESG-related topics. At the uptodate Ventures GmbH, one of my proudest achievements is the co-development of the sustainability app \"Earnest,\" which motivates employees to become more sustainable and track and showcase their impact towards the SDGs. I use my expertise to identify the latest sustainability trends, combine them with a needs-based approach, and develop new content and features for the app accordingly. I\'m proud to act as a company-wide filter and driver of sustainability, ensuring we stay true to our sustainability promise while offering impact-driven solutions for our economy.As an absolvant of the Harvard Executive Education in Sustainability Leadership Programme, owning a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineer and a M.A. in Environment, Development, and Peace, I bring a deep understanding of the intersection of social, economic, and environmental sustainability. I\'m passionate about creating a sustainable future and am always looking for opportunities to make a positive impact.During my time with the United Nations, I gained valuable experience in project and program management, stakeholder engagement, international relations, and sustainable development. At the UNDP in Afghanistan, I ensured effective planning and implementation of trust fund management support activities, which included coordinating monitoring and evaluation, facilitating communication for strong partnerships in a multi-stakeholder and crisis-prone environment, and contributing to the development of an SDG platform. Additionally, during my tenure at the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, I honed my skills in partnerships, inter-governmental processes, and inter-agency cooperation. My diverse experience and expertise enable me to make significant contributions to any organization focused on achieving sustainable development goals.
