Research new emerging ingredients and technologies to support the development of new, innovative products• Investigate, diagnose and rectify issues with pre-existing formulas• Reverse-engineer and improve upon cosmetic products already on the market• Lead the technology transfer of formulas specified by the client• Evaluate all new formulas utilizing internal analytical capabilities and coordinating with external labs, as required• Utilize and develop new test methods• Support the transfer and scale-up of formulations from the Research and Development (R&D) Lab to the Pilot Lab for performance evaluation and customer testing• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance to assess, test, and approve alternate raw materials ensuring regulatory compliance and product integrity• Work with the product management, engineering, quality and production departments to scale up the production of new products• Network and engage with suppliers• Independently prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects related to the responsibilities above
