As Stakeholder Manager for the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) at the Met Office, I lead international engagement across a portfolio of science-for-development programmes, including the long-running Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership (WCSSP). My role supports the development of strategic, impactful collaborations between the UK and partner countries, focused on delivering world-class weather and climate science to address global challenges such as disaster risk, climate resilience, and sustainable development.Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder strategy development, aligning programme goals with partner priorities across academia, government, and international development organisations. • Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with in-country partners in regions including Asia, Latin America, and Africa to support co-designed climate science solutions. • Programme Representation: Represent WCSSP at national and international forums, effectively communicating programme impact and scientific outcomes to diverse audiences. • Collaboration Facilitation: Enable cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration between UK researchers and global institutions, fostering long-term scientific partnerships. • Impact Communication: Work with programme teams to articulate and showcase WCSSP’s contributions to global resilience, sustainable development, and capacity building. • Monitoring and Evaluation Support: Contribute to programme-level reporting and M&E activities, ensuring stakeholder needs and feedback are integrated into programme delivery.
