I specialise in commercial property and advise on development, investment and asset management transactions. I also advise lenders and borrowers on real estate finance. My clients include institutional investors, property developers, overseas investors, high net worth individuals, family offices, listed companies and property funds.I have acted on numerous high-value projects across the build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), logistics and office sectors.Recent highlights:Advising Fusion Students on a range of forward funding schemes.Regularly advising a listed national housebuilder on landlord and tenant matters, including complex pre-let agreements.I also advise on the real estate aspects of M&A transactions.Key experience:Fusion Students — sale and forward funding of a student portfolio to Cain International, and the acquisition of its Brent Cross site for Fusion’s first London scheme, a £210m student development; Tri7/TriOffice — acquisitions including 10–12 Whitworth Street, Manchester (bought out of administration for £16m) and a multi-let office in Manchester for Tri7’s new office arm;Bridge Industrial — UK expansion, including the acquisition and financing of Bridge Point Enterprise East sq ft last‑mile warehousing, East London) and relocation of its European HQ in London; Equites Property Fund — financing of its Tesco, Hinkley site, estate management at DHL, Island Road, Reading, and EV charging upgrades at Amazon, Stanley Matthews Way, Stoke‑on‑Trent; Columbia Threadneedle (formerly BMO Property Growth & Income Fund ICVC) — disposal of 23 Mallard Close, Earls Barton (let to Pro Tiler); Selig Group — lease renewal at its European HQ, Slough Trading Estate; Watkin Jones — disposals of BTR schemes across major UK regional cities; a FTSE‑listed national housebuilder — multiple commercial pre‑lets and complex land matters across two large estates, and an over‑station development with TfL for a mixed-use scheme of 400+ homes plus commercial; PGIM Real Estate — acquisition of the Domus portfolio from Goldman Sachs and regular funding of portfolio assets in the warehousing and care home sectors; a major student accommodation operator — portfolio acquisitions and ongoing management; a Turkish family office — acquisition of 15 Fetter Lane and the subsequent corporate sale of the owning entity; Advanced Computer Software Group Limited — real estate aspects of several M&A transactions, including Oyez Professional Services, Clear Review and The National Will Register.
