ABOUT OLIVER OLLIE LEWINGTON

I am a software developer with over 5 years of experience delivering complex, high-impact software solutions across multiple technologies. I am passionate about building scalable, maintainable applications and continuously expanding my expertise in modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and full-stack development.Currently, I work at DEFRA supporting the Strategic Payments Services (SPS) team, developing and maintaining Node.js microservices and front-end applications that handle over £2 billion in payments to farmers. My work spans full-stack development, including real-time web APIs, API integrations, front-end features, and deployment via Azure DevOps using Helm, Docker, and AKS. I have also led database migrations and contributed to critical enterprise system initiatives.Previously, during my apprenticeships at Eviden (Sellafield NDA) and Atos, I developed PoC applications using ASP.NET MVC.NET 6 Blazor Server, WPF, and SignalR, built automation tools, and integrated chatbots with ServiceNow and Nexthink APIs. I was recognized as Apprentice of the Year and a Digital Technology Advocate for my contributions to automation and digital innovation.I thrive in Agile/Kanban environments, actively participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative problem-solving.
