I\'m an electrical engineer with extensive practical experience. Centered in the automotive industry, my background in systems design has covered the following: Concept cars - Chrysler, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Mazda, Hyundai, Fisker. Motorsports - Formula cars, motorcycles, off-road trucks, dirt track cars. Specialty vehicles - Foose Hemisfear, Local Motors Rally Fighter, custom hot rods. Electric Vehicles - Aptera, Epic 232 Electric Sport boat Program Management - Telematics Operations My strengths are communication, troubleshooting and resource management. I feel most comfortable working for smaller companies that need people with a wide breadth of talents. With the teams I’ve managed, I strive to develop skills and strengths within the team to build a group that can work well independently. This strategy has been incredibly successful with teams that get spread across multiple locations or in different states or countries. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring younger engineers. At Apple I\'ve been the IPC 620 instructor and supported multiple teams with design and manufacturing solutions. More recently, I\'ve been spending an increasing amount of time at the racetrack with motorcycles. My weekends have been filled with riding, coaching and studying motorcycle vehicle dynamics. With a comprehensive data acquisition system on my own bike, I\'ve been able to compare and analyze setup changes and rider behavior for both my own personal improvement and to better teach others the concepts to become faster riders.
