ABOUT OLIVER KENDALL
I am a Senior at Kenyon College (Class of 2022), majoring in Biochemistry. Over the last summer, I was a member of the Early Discovery team at Valo Health. There, I learned skills relating to the synthesis and testing of DNA Encoded Libraries, Parallel synthesis, Analytical Chemistry, and ADME assays. Working at Valo has given me experience with split and pool combinatorial chemistry, the use of automation in library synthesis, purification using HPLC and UPLC, and testing drug stability using ADME assays. Since my Junior year at college, I have been an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. M. Rouhier\'s lab. In the lab, I was able to choose the direction of my research, tailor experiments to support my hypotheses, and write a paper and poster to discuss my findings. I would like to build upon my previous experiences and am actively searching for a job in pharmaceutical drug development upon my graduation from college in the summer of 2022.
