ABOUT OLIVER CURRALL
I lead the UK Tax team in Sidley’s London office. Our team advises on tax matters across the full range of Sidley’s transactional capabilities - this includes M&A, private equity, fund formation, restructuring, leveraged and structured finance, securitisation and CLOs, equity and debt capital markets, insurance, real estate and executive compensation and employee benefits. My personal focus is on fund formation and M&A and private equity, as well as insurance transactions and restructuring. I work closely with our transactional and tax colleagues across the firm, and spend a lot of my time working on cross-border acquisitions and investment structures. A large proportion of our team’s work is with US and other international clients, especially private equity, credit fund, insurance and other asset management businesses.
