ABOUT OLIVER CROSS
Biomedical Science student at the University of Sheffield with a strong interest in anatomy, oncology, and the wider pharmaceutical industry. I’m passionate about how science can improve lives through exploring both research and commercial sides of healthcare.I’m currently undertaking a year-long industrial placement at Sanofi, within the oncology division as a marketing assistant, gaining insight into how life-changing treatments are communicated and brought to patients. Having been president of the Biomedical Science Society, I’ve organised events, led meetings, and helped build a supportive student community. I also support first-year students through being a residence life mentor at the Univerisy of Sheffield, and tutor GCSE students, which has strengthened my communication and leadership skills.I look forward to opportunities to collaborate in a world-class research environment and continue developing my skills to contribute to healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
