ABOUT OLIVER BETTZIECHE

As the Managing Director and Founder of a localization and internationalization agency, I am a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the international IT industry and familiar with managing large-scale projects in a timely and cost-aware way. Based in Munich, Germany, I have expert knowledge of the international translation market and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by businesses operating in international markets.In addition to running the translation company, I do manage M-START, an event services company, specializing in regattas and other high-profile sporting events requiring event and/or digitalization solutions. I am a respected leader in this field, and serve as the President of Regatta München e.V, the Regatta Association of the Munich Metropolitan Region, since 2014 and managed among many international regattas the European Championships Munich 2022 for both Rowing and Canoe Sprint.As Managing Director of my translation agency, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company\'s operations, including business development, financial management, and staff supervision. I also play a key role in shaping the company\'s long-term strategy and vision, and work closely with clients to ensure that they receive the highest quality services and support.In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. I am actively involved in various philanthropic initiatives and work ambitiously to support and promote the growth and development of the local rowing and canoe sprint community. Apart from that, I am also involved in various other non-profit organizations.
